Life happens ya know? I am still around, drawing and sketching some, but other things tend to occupy more of my time. I play bass in the band at church, walk the dog daily (she has way too much energy), participate in a weekly photo challenge, etc.
In the new year I took up Geocaching, a new hobby, lots of fun. It combines hiking, which I already enjoyed doing, with finding 'treasure' in the woods. I inherited an old iPhone, so for the first time I have a handheld GPS, which is required for geocaching.
I also have baby canaries right now. My first time breeding them. They grow so fast, you can see them change from morning to evening. I just sold the third baby from my first batch of four (keeping the remaining one) and the second batch is about two weeks old. Once they are ready I will give the parents a rest. You can see progress pictures on their facebook page: Sarah's Canaries
Gryphon book sales have petered out, but hopefully I will get out to a show or two and sell some more. I am about halfway towards breaking even. I have plans to sell them online, but haven't got it sorted out yet. I am also working on writing up the story of how I made the books, about self-publishing an art book. That way anyone who wants to know what goes into it can read about it. I struggled to find that information when I was thinking of making the book, so hopefully I can provide a comprehensive story of how it all works. You can get more information on my website: 100 Gryphons
